On the second-last day of our trip, we pay a visit to the Amal Center, a non-profit organisation set up to train disadvantaged women in hospitality, increasing their employability and opening up previously unthinkable opportunities.
Quel plaisir* to be taught by these passionate and devoted women. Good for the soul and even good for our French! *What a pleasure

Yves Saint Laurent had an abiding love for Morocco and for many years called Marrakech his second home. With partner Pierre Bergé, they rejuvenated the stunning Majorelle Gardens and the newly opened YSL Museum sits juste à côté*.

*Long live the revolution | *voyage of discovery.
We meet Aurélien, manager of local café/bar Les Animals (for the grammarians out there, the incorrect use of the plural is intentional - it's that type of place...).
St Quentin Market, cooking class and then a well-deserved apéro.
